About the Journal

The Chronic Diseases Journal is a quarterly peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences since 2013. This journal has the certification of MedicalJournals Commission of Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education as a SIENTIFIC-RESEARCH journal from 2019 (No. 1392/04/20-15/92/4508). In each year, this journal publishes about 32 to 40 research and 2 to 3 review articles. Time from submission to first decision is 2 days, time from submission to final decision is 3 weeks, and time from acceptance to publication is 2-10 weeks.

Aim and Scope: The manuscripts on the topic of chronic and subacute medical and health conditions and diseases will be published in this journal. This contains all aspects of the chronic and subacute diseases such as control, planning, treatment, patient education, managing guides, policy making, and biopsychospiritual factors.

Article Fee: Submission and processing are completely free of charge.

The Chronic Diseases Journal is open access, and provides full texts of the published articles free of charge to readers.

Journal allow the author(s) to hold the copyright without restrictions. Journal allow the author(s) to retain publishing rights without restrictions. The authors warrant that their contribution is an original work not published elsewhere.

The journal does not have a waiver policy (for developing country authors, etc.).

The journal allow software/spiders to automatically crawl the journal content (also known as text mining).

The journal provide article level metadata to DOAJ.
